Yes, I feel the freedom of these bare feet.
A man can decide to smile while walking through the rain; your choice to smile changes the event into moment of joy.
The picture of these glad feet reminds me of this aspect.

Very interesting image. Bright despite the weather. I am not sure about the thick frame, I think that the shot is powerful enough without it.

Nice composition, though i would like to a vertical version pf that, that will allow to see more of the reflection in the wet floor.
I don't like the frame, but that's beside the point.

Hello Hendrik. Just a superb picture, beautifully framed, cropped, treated. Sharpness is excellent, and I love the pink tones in the reflections. You made the most of rain... Cheers, Francis
ps. No close head portraits hardly from Europe or the US. Is everyone scared of getting sued? (Look at Asia and Africa for contrast)...Just curious.

the frame is a matter of taste. Except that - IMO -

Very interesting picture. I'm not that found of the frame. I think it overtakes the picture. Other than that, great shot:)

A great observation and typically Dutch. A veeeery good shot indeed Hendrik!

I like the idea of the framing but I would have framed a liiiiiitle bit tighter at bottom.
I also agree with the others about the thick black frame, maybe a lighter one would be more suitable...
