...Three rivers are leading out of Forollhogna National Park on the north side. This is one of them, river Bua winding its way through Synnerdalen, the South valley. The total lenght of river Bua is less than 50 km so it never becomes large and mighty...

I still remember this fine autumn day, with pleasant temperatures this late in September. And we had already seen the first snow in the NP...

This is spawning season, when the trout in rivers and lakes are busy securing future generations! In fact all reproduction of trout happens in the rivers, even the fish that normally stay in lakes have to find running water for the most important event in the trout year...

Soon we have Easter, a holiday that many Norwegians traditionally spend in the mountains, skiing. Personally I will wait until the roads open again, hopefully sometime early June...
