Photographer's Note

My first HDR
I red an article in the New York Times of a software which by combining over/underexposed photos (same motif of course) using the HDR tech (HDR=High Dynamic Range) would correct difficult light conditions, like in this example:

Basis is 5 photos shot (direction: towards sun) by use of a tripod, later combined to 1 result with Photomatix software. Regard IE how the background is handled - normally the sky should have been 'washed out'..

From this I did 'usual' pp in Paintshop pro, like:
Moderate cropping, sharpening (USM), light/contrast adjustment with lasso tools, levels/curves.

For me the result is quite interesting and I would appreciate your comments to the outcome.
Pls. see the originals and the outcome of the software in this PDF document>> to better study details of the process.
