Photographer's Note
1 May is a national holiday all over Eurpore, and 3 May is a national holiday in Poland (Constitution Day). Hence, in Poland usually 2 May is a day off, too. I had the luck to be in Krakow by that time this year. Krakow is clothed in flags: Red/White is the national, Blue/White is Krakow's flag. The church is decorated with Yellow/White (Vatican's color). Read my other note regarding flags for this picture.
I was playing a lot to find and to capture the final composition. What I wanted was to see through the blue flag, where Mary's church, Krakkow's most known symbol was standing. It was not as easy as it seems now, due to the quite heavy wind. I took around 20 shots...this is the only one remained. I also wanted to include the white part of the white/blue flag, but my old 17-35 lens worked as a ~24-52 on a DSLR body. Nevertheless, I do like this picture. And hope, you do so! ;)
