Photographer's Note

Baltic Sea can be difficult to love. It's unpredictable, chimerical, and it can be really frigid. Still, there are many who love it and decide to spend their holidays in its company. There are many who regret their decision. But they usually come back another year counting that this time everything will be OK. And sometimes they get what they want. But even if they don't, they still love it - just like me - because Baltic Sea is beautiful ;P

Witaj Piotr,

Lovely picture with the long reflection on water of the sun.
Also the long shadows of the big stones give a good effect on the picture.
Sharpness and clarity are superb.
Nice captured and lovely composed. TFS.

Ladne, a nawet bardzo ladne jak na moj skromny babski gust. Fajne, poetyckie, nastrojowe. Ale najwazniejsze: dobrze zrobione.

Czesc Piotrek,
Skromny to Ty jestes nie ma co ;)) Fota jak marzenie. Naprawde chcialbym tam byc ze swoim zlomem. Przepiekna tonacja i moj ulubiony efekt na wodzie. Mogles troszke bardziej przymknac przyslone a slonce mialo by ciekawszy ksztalt, ale i tak odlotowo. Jestem jak najbadziej na TAK!!

I had to smile at your note. It sounds like you have the same love/hate relationship with the Baltic Sea as I have with the North Sea. I don't go there for holidays; I live there!
I love the slow shutter effect on the waves, creating a wonderful misty atmosphere, enhanced by the pink tones of the rising/setting sun. The reflected light, not only on the water, but on the wet rocks is a wonderful element of the scene too.

swietne skomponowany pierwszy plan z fajnym efektem dlugiego czasu. Szkoda ze troche sie przepalilo, eh gdybys mial wtedy jakies ciezkie chmury zeby lekko oslabic slonce :)
