Photographer's Note

My city on a foggy frosty evening.

One more look.
Yesterday I showed the east side.
Today the view of the co-cathedral from the west.
I think it was worth presenting this beautiful building of my city?

This Church called FARA (presently Concathedral) was built between 1905-1907 according to a design of Sylwester Pajzderski and modified by Roger Slawski. In the surrounding we can see earlier structures like the Catholic House or presbytery. St. Stanislaw's Church, as it is called, was built in Neo-Romanesque style- it has got three naves and a high tower, hi the square in front of FARA there stands a monument of archbishop Ledochowski, who was kept in prison in Ostrow during Kulturkampf (1874-1876).
