Photographer's Note

My recent European scanned pictures of past travels by work and time holidays with a non digital camera will continue with a weekly post.

Now, a different post nature capture at Pico Island that I also promised to show in this moment weekly TE cycle. This place is known by CAPTAIN Lake and from here, you with good weather conditions take excelent pictures of PICO Mountain that you can see in my links above, but sureally with a not so good weather conditions of the day and moment.

This place have this name because the First Militar Settler and Administration Explorer of this Island was a DUTCH Captain that shared with the Portuguese adventure sailors the inland discover of this wonderful preserved nature.

As I said, I didn't have in that day a weather luck because it was hazzy and from this place with great luck you can get wonderful approaches to the near PICO Mountain that I didn't get in my voyage to this Island.

You can see im my Ws's and in one of them a point shot view to PICO by the moment with a short lake border and at a approaching angle PICO surrounding not so easy atmosphere condition.

This was posted in a Valentine's day and the duck friendly lover missed this loved one that I post now, and so the lonely duck is making some circle mind water reflections to balance the moment ;-))).

IMPORTANT LOCAL CAPTURE: If You want to see the Local where I took this picture I give a Google Map with a reference GREEN CAMERA ICON here: Link

INFORMATION LINKS: Here YOU have a directly approach to PICO Mountain with a few small clouds that is excelent and not normal all the day. Generally You only have small daily moments to capture the TOP Mountain without clouds and obtain a clear picture. For a better information of my work, view this one here: Link

ADITIONAL Information: In my Photo Information YOU have two WS-Workshops that are a complementary view of this duck and lake place taken some seconds after the one I posted. I hope you like also this view from the duck, the view of PICO with not so good weather and in future, I have another special posing of this nice water swimming duck and from others to you. Now I didn't have Pico Mountain by here but only lake and ducks ;-)))

TECHNICAL Notes: No Cropping by my personal view to post and ISO=77, Focal Lenght=198mm a smell of Hue, Contrast, also a small touch of reduction lightness and finnaly filtered with sharpness by 30% by NEATIMAGE Software. Not a B&W picture but the color and view moment.

These are natural wonders Islands in the Atlantic Center North preserved Paradise with a warm climate.

Thanks to ALL of YOU and I hope that You like this different approach and also a return post to wild natural scenery.
