Photographer's Note
The Azores Riviera, in summer looks almost always like a pool. In winter that does not happen as often, as visible here close to the West End.
The contours of the 8 km Riviera, the location for most of the photos I posted here, are finally visible in Google maps, in a winter satellite photo (January or February 2007):
