Pico do Arieiro.

Directly accessible by road, the Pico do Arieiro (sometimes written Areeiro) is a starting point for hiking to the 2 highest peaks of Madeira, Pico Ruivo (1862m) and Pico das Torres (1851m). Pico do Arieiro is at the third position (1818m).

I was really surprised to see a beautiful paved and well marked path, it is quite unusual for a hiking trail.

Luckily, that day, the different peaks emerged above a sea of clouds, suggesting a spectacular panorama.

ls nuages qui jouent autor des sommets sont un merveilleux spectacle . le panorama ets ici de toute beauté . Mais un peu trop de monde sur le chmein pour moi .

Bonjour Delphine,

Ce joli panorama donne une bonne idée des paysages de Madère. Paradoxalement, il est plus plaisant à regarder dans la petite version que dans la grande où l'on remarque effectivement les personnes dédoublées et mêmes certains effets "fantômes".
Comme sur ta précédente photo, les nuages apportent un centre d'intérêt supplémentaire indéniable.

Superb mountains landscape photo, excellent light, nice arrangement, very good viewpoint. The cloudy/hazy atmosphere adds nice toning to the scene. I like the arrangement in nice panoramic format.

Bonjour Delphine,

C'est très plaisant de voir les nuages à nos pieds comme des touffes de ouates entre les pics. J'aime le format panoramique de l'image et sa belle netteté même si les éléments sont assez loin.

this is a beautiful panoramic view. I love the cloud that is hanging between the valley, while the light is glorious up high. the large version is breath taking with sweeping view of the area and the people on the path give a nice sense of scale.

when I visited this place it was covered with clouds, not so much things to see.
very nice view with these peaks and details of the highest part of the island. TFS.
