Photographer's Note
My third trip to Lisbon with my wife. We are lucky to have some good friends there, who dedicated their time and took us to visit fantastic places.
As Nazaré, which you can see in this photo taken from the Miradouro do Suberco despite the haze, which that day was flooding this whole area of the Portuguese coast, a city which we enjoyed with our dear friend Teresa.

The Miradouro do Suberco is located 110 meters above sea level, in Nazaré (Portugal). This viewpoint offers one of the most marvelous sea views in all of Portugal, and is a perfect place to watch the sunrise or sunset. From here you get excellent panoramic views over Banhos Beach and the A Praia de Nazaré area.
Wikipedia info:
Nazaré is a Portuguese city belonging to the intermunicipal community of the West and the Central region. It is part of the "Região de Turismo do Oeste", with about 10,100 inhabitants. In the Atlantic Ocean, it gives its name to the so-called Nazaré canyon, an oceanic peculiarity characteristic of this municipality. The city is about 100 km away from Lisbon.
Due to the proximity of the submarine canyon of Nazaré on the coast of the town, the waves produced here are probably the highest in Portugal, making it one of the best surf spots in Europe. The canyon creates a constructive interference between the incoming waves so it tends to make the waves much larger than normal.
In November 2011, the Hawaiian surfer Garrett McNamara surfed an unprecedented giant wave: 23.8 meters of the channel to the ridge, in Nazaré.

Hello Josep,
The fog creates a fantastic mood here and the orange roofs of the white houses of the city and the yellow sand add a lot of colours to the photo, too. The rocks in the foreground are also well included and add depth. Fantastic viewpoint, too.

Hello Josip
The mist makes it different here. The empty beach is another change from the usual pictures taken here. In my memory Nazaré means Arroz de Mariscos, I trust that is still the case?

A spot I remember very well, Josep.
High above the magnificent shoreline, beautiful town and a location that attract many waves-surfers.
The fog is a usual phenomenon there, but did not distract the imposing sight from the top of the cliff. However, you might had cropped much of the upper part in this case, my humble opinion.
Buenas tardes,
Ike

Hi Josep
who needs bright sunlight right! haha, just goes to show you can capture a wonderful photo in dull overcast smokey misty air as well. look how large and wide that beach is, thats incredible. and there's no need to worry about finding a place to rest on the beach, even on a hot sunny day I would think. wonderful views from up here, what is a hike or a drive? cheers

Ciao Josep
Saluti

Bonjour, cher ami Josep,

Hello Josep,
This view is very nicely divided into several distinct sections. A red and white town, a light brown wide beach, light blue sea, brown rocks, and hanging above it all a thick layer of fog. The fog was probably the reason why this beautiful beach was almost totally empty in the middle of June. In spite of the fog and haze the photo has an excellent clarity, and the composition is very appealing.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hi Josep
Well, this caught my eye in the gallery thumbnails, I like the compo with concentration on the packed browned roof low lying houses grabs the eye straight away as seen form this high vantage point. Looks a wonderful place for beach combing - something very appealing about a deserted beach as the fog diffuses into the distant exuding depth and a wonderful calming aura about it. A very well observed, composed with heaps of intriguing elements you have caught it beautifully. Congrats.
Best regards

Hola, Josep!

Intrigante o quanto a névoa espessa!

Belo trabalho.
Parabéns e Abraço,
Lucas
