Photographer's Note
If you were curious what sort of views you can expect after riding to the top with the Santa Justa Lift, which I showed in the previous photo, this is a good example here. In this photo you can see a view towards one of the most elegant squares in Lisbon, Praça do Rossio, with the Column of Pedro IV standing in the very centre of it. If you would like to see a view from that square towards the point of view from which this photo was taken, check this photo below:
https://www.trekearth.com/viewphotos.php?l=7&p=1126515
However, don’t expect to see the Santa Justa Lift in that photo, it is hiding behind one of the roofs.

Hello Mariusz,
Beautiful with the many red roofs and the light-coloured facades.
Even the tile pattern of the Praça do Rossio is visible from here, but not to make you dizzy.
The column with Pedro IV on top is nicely central in the picture.
Your photos remind me again that Lisbon is a very beautiful city.
Best regards, Paul

Great city view, Mariusz, well composed with the column/statue in the middle and that tight border of blue at the top. A fine and colourful capture.

Hello Mariusz, the elevated point of view served you well, you have included so many colourful buildings.
The square in the centre with the stone column and statue is a good focal point.
The sharp quality is excellent.
You are doing a good job in ‘selling’ Lisbon, it looks to be a lovely place, one to visit in the future!
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards, Jean.

Maybe I told you about this statue before.
dom pedro 4th is the first emperor of brazil (peter, the first for us), his history is just amazing if you like to know, if he was english or american hollywwod would have made 100 moves about him.
this statue wasn't made for him, it was a french sculpture of maximilian, a french king Napoleon obligated mexican to accept and was killed by them while in mexico. some time after france sent a statue to pay homage for him and the mexicans ever sent it back to france and after many refusals the statue was abandoned in lisbon port and "recycled" as peter the 4th, I guess nobody would see the face of the king up there.
a different view of a classic spot.
take care
jorge

Hello Mariusz,
The opening in a sea of red roofs has a nice monument.
