Photographer's Note

Today is my bithday and I decided it upload some picture with some meaning, so I made this.
For me the religion was and is so important part in my life.
However sometimes you find the religion is s little twisted and looks like if is falling and you start to loose your faith, however if you make some changes to your point of view, change the percepcion and perspective of your belives, you can start to belive, to give live,ligth and sense to your belives and to your life too.
I'm living my life so happy, I have a problems like everybody, but I'm being happy in my life. Now with one more year, I hope I can make my life more happy, finally this is the porpouse in this life... BE HAPPY don't your think?.

Olá Elias, first of all, congratulations for your birthday. I'm late, because it was tomorrow, but it's better late then never (usually I don't go to TE on weekends, to have some rest of it...). This is a very interesting presentation with the tilt framing and what I like more is the fact that the pilar is vertical, so you used the distortion of the perspective to compose this work. Very well done!
The angle is great and the details are quite nice and I beleive that this was taken inside of the big church (mosteiro) of Jerónimos. You should have put some information about that, but since it was your birthday...;-)
I agree with about the purpose of life. Just enjoy it and be happy!

But I'm very happy you've chosen a photo from Portugal.It's a very nice monastery indeed and you captured a very nice detail. I really like it!

Hola Elias, el otro día entre en tu foto para ponerte un comentario y la conexión a internet que tengo en casa hizo que fuera imposible.
Lo primero felicitarte por tu cumpleaños, siento no haberlo hecho el día en cuestión.
Lo segundo felicitarte por el cuadro original y acertado que le has dado a esta foto. Me gusta el efecto que consigues y también las texturas y luces de la foto.
Y también felicitarte por tu comentario cargado de sentimiento y profundidad.
Para mi también la fe es algo importante, y creo que es muy importante tener ese espíritu que tu muestras de buscar ser feliz y de buscar serlo cada día un poco más con la sencillez de mirar la vida y disfrutarla.
