Photographer's Note

Belem is a district of Lisbon famous for the Belém Tower (in this photo), the Jerónimos Monastery or the Padrão dos Descobrimentos.
I have shared previously a view taken from the balcony of the tower:

Belém Tower (Portuguese: Torre de Belém), officially the Tower of Saint Vincent, is a 16th-century fortification located in Lisbon that served as a point of embarkation and disembarkation for Portuguese explorers and as a ceremonial gateway to Lisbon. It was built during the height of the Portuguese Renaissance, and is a prominent example of the Portuguese Manueline style. The structure was built from lioz limestone and is composed of a bastion and a 30-metre (98.4 ft), four-storey tower. Since 1983, the tower has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site, along with the Jerónimos Monastery.

The iconic Torre in Portugal, wonderfully placed within the frame.
I have a similar picture - but no-such outcome, unfortunately.
But, saw it at night before whikle approaching Lisbon from the plane, majestic sight nfrom aloft (No picture to my disappointment).

Hello Mariusz,
A real gem of a building!
Apparently there were a lot of people queuing.
I think the balcony in the middle is the most beautiful element.
Like Ike, I already saw the Torre de Belém from the plane. Before landing, the plane had to circle around for a while and I was able to see some of the beautiful places along the Tagus.

Hello Mariusz,

This is an obvious feature for a photographer to capture, it is so ornate, individual and stands out so well against the blue of the sky or the sea.
Your inclusion of the curved promenade makes a natural, leisurely guide, and it is interspersed with colourfully dressed figures, always a bonus!
The distant boat is a second bonus. It guides attention from the main, beautiful tower, right into the b/g, for a conclusion.

yes, it is the real symbol of portugal, it is in that list of famous monuments like state of liberty, eiffel tower, Colosseum, big ben, christ redeemer, etc..
a very nice view with a good light and blue sky, portuguese sky during summer is ever perfect for photos.

Hello Mariusz, what a beautiful tower, it reminds me of an elaborately iced cake, maybe because of its colour.
An excellent composition where you focus on the tower but allow some space for us to see the sea. A shot to be proud of.
