Photographer's Note

Hi TE friends

We are in the Cape Espichel (Cabo Espichel) and...

This is the Memory Chapel (Ermida da Memória) is a small rectangular temple of simple, harmonious and proportionate. It has rounded dome topped by a crown with unpleasant aftertastes Orientalia.

It is preceded by a churchyard where we contemplate the ocean. Inside and on the south front, has panels of blue and white tiles that tell the history of the Shrine.

The original structure was built during the fifteenth century, at the initiative of the first pilgrims, in order to accommodate the image of Nossa Senhora do Cabo.

Close this small cahpel there are the ensemble called the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Pedra Mua, deployed at the edge of Cape Espichel, is undoubtedly the most important and characteristic of the Municipality

In the WS, I post the Church of the Sanctuary.
