Lisbon is the capital and largest city of Portugal. Lisbon is the westernmost large city located in Europe, as well as its westernmost capital city and the only one along the Atlantic coast. It lies in the western Iberian Peninsula on the Atlantic Ocean and the River Tagus.

I like everything about this photo. The star effects from the lights, the seemingly empty street (but we know a few cars went by because of tail light streaks), the texture of the buildings, the random blue-green-aqua colors from other lights, etc. I rarely like photos with a completely black sky but it works in this one. Maybe it would have been nice to have a pedestrian on a sidewalk in the foreground but the photo is just fine without it. Nicely done.

Hi Bob,
i looked at the thumbnail and nearly didn't open your posting, that would have been a mistake.
good DOF and clarity, the control of light in the shot is spot on.
i like the pockets of colour in the shot, a good posting
