Photographer's Note
A while ago, I presented on TrekEarth a ceiling from Batalha Monastery which I found very original:
https://www.trekearth.com/viewphotos.php?l=7&p=1125304
While the previous photo presented the ceiling (or a lack of it) over Capelas Imperfeitas, in this photo for a change you see a ceiling of the Capela do Fundador.
Since the first chapel, due to its ceiling, is called "imperfect", I presume this one is what the builder imagined as a perfection.

Hello Marius!
Well made photo. I especially like the play of light on the stained-glass windows on the lower right pillar.
The building is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Additionally:
Batalha is home to the World Heritage Site of the Monastery and Church of the Virgin Mary. The special value of the building complex is given by the fact that it is the largest English Gothic church and monastery on Portuguese land, one of the most significant works of the Manuel style.

Ciao Mariusz,in fact this is absolutely perfect, and perfection can be seen thanks to your photo which is equally so. Symmetries and extraordinary details, I also really like the reflections of colors coming from the light filtered by the windows at the bottom right. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz,
A fantastic view of the ceiling and the inside of the dome here. I really like the warm and lit parts in the middle, surrounded by the darker parts of the arches. Very well done.

Witaj Mariusz
I haven't been anywhere in North Portugal so this is informative and useful to me. A superb upward pov with good sharpness and framing. Excellent symmetry. Tfs!

Hi Mariusz
as a photographer I love and hate shooting these. Its hard on the neck haha...and its SO hard to line up all the angles and straight lines in a symmetical pattern - yet in the end they always look fantastic, so its worth all the pain and effort.
I'm sure you're happy with this result. very hard to manage all the different lighting and shadows and over/under exposed areas...but again, the final product is very attractive
cheers

Excellent upwards POV, well used the outside light here, Mariusz.
I found hundreds of small & large pieces of architecture's jewels within the Batalha premises - nobody can take all of those on pictures.
Have a nice new day,
Ike

Hello Mariusz,
I forgot how the ceiling in the Batalha Monastery looked like.
That means that I didn't take a picture there or that my photo wasn't a success.
Excellent clear and sharp shot.
It's extremely difficult to get all the stained glass windows colourful.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Mariusz,
A very geometrical photo with nice symmetry. The windows are a little overexposed because of the sunlight coming through them, but overall the exposure is good. I like the colors from the stained glass on the wall at bottom right.

this ceiling is ever special to see again and again. remind me a starfish. I remember an history about this monastery, it is told the portuguese king built it to celebrate the battle against spaniards and when the ceiling as concluded, a structure so innovative and dangerous, the king let the spanish prisoners under the roof to pray while the timber structure was removed. if the roof fell down they would die, if the mind of portuguese architects were successful they could be go away for their homes.
take care
