Vanessa Atalanta, Red admiral, a very battered specimen, but how would it be otherwise this late in the season? Left wing, body and antennas are nice and sharp, whereas the right wing is slightly outside the DOF range. The background is somewhat unruly, but nothing much to do about that when photographing butterflies, they sit where they want to ;-)
