Photographer's Note

In the beginning... Humans lived in the Garden of Eden.
The perfect climate: never so hot or so cold that humans would feel uncomfortable; as much rain as it was required to let tree ferns but also cactus grow.
The perfect landscape: coastal plains between sandy beaches and high mountain ranges, with all tones of green spreading along the hills.

Then God rearranged the world.
Humans were expelled from the Garden of Eden and divided in different races, according to their new habitat.

There were a few places on Earth that kept a climate almost like the Garden of Eden. But God kept them free of humans.

For many years humans stayed in the same place.
Then at one point they started to get "civilized" and consequently they begun to move along the continents.

Later, in 1415, the portuguese begun to move across the oceans.
In the beginning, the portuguese landed here.
