Piriquita - Sintra

When visitng Sintra do not miss this pastry shop.

It is known for its TRAVESEIROS (pillow in portuguese), special sweet of secret
recipe. If possible try it just removed from the oven, but be carefull, its stuffed can be very hot.
You can also try QUEIJADAS, also better hot. Anyway all sweets are pretty good.

When you visit Sintra, don't forget: Piriquita

I didn't like this photo at first - but after I clicked on it I read your note and looked at the photo larger. It has a 3D effect! I 'feel' like I am looking up hill. It looks steep and like it would be slick on a rainy day! :) The added vibrant colour of the building on the right helps. I would have preferred the shot taken a step or two to the right so it has more symmetry.

Conheço a casa, os doces e a rua. Não vou lá mais vezes porque vivo na Austrália! Gosto da foto, que representa bem a Vila de Sintra.

Gosto muito desta foto, nomeadamete a forma como captas o chão, que nos parece guiar pela rua fora. Embora não vá lá há alguns anos, sou um grande apreciador dos travesseiros de Sintra: são uma obra de arte, especialmente quando quentinhos...
