Most impressive Metrosideros Exc. alley, a photo from Acores, Islands

Photographer's Note

This might be the most impressive Metrosideros Excelsa alley in the world. Actually I only know about such alleys in Sao Miguel Island, where this tree grows faster and larger than in its native habitat.

Nice shot Ilena; some remarks from you in the "Note" area would be nice to see though.

I like the contrast of colors between the red road and the green foliage. It makes for a more pleasant relaxed natural presentation that you did not make some dramatic color shift in an attempt to make it more "striking". The way you have presented it here is beautiful.

The only change I might consider would be to crop off the left edge more to eliminate the bright area beneath the palm fronds, but if you did you would lose some of your symmetry which might detract more than you gain from eliminating the bright spot. An alternative would be to replace the sky in this bright spot with foliage using Photoshop. I have tried this as a workshop just to give you an idea of the change.
