Joy of gypsies, a photo from Arges, West

Photographer's Note

On the way from Targoviste to Bran there is a village called Cetateni. At the end of this village there are about 10 gypsy houses. These houses are guarded by hills; on top of one hills there is an interesting and mysterious old monastery built in a cave called Negru Voda. Because the monastery has water only from the rains, the monks need more water. As you can see this water is carried sometimes by the gypsies who are living at the bottom of the hill. They saw me with the camera and very shy they asked me to take a picture with them. This is the result…joy of gypsies.

Hi Daniel,
Very nice relaxed group shot with a pleasant background. It would have been better, I think, if you had got a bit closer to remove the clutter from either side of the shot or moved it away before you took the picture. Cropping afterwards might have helped. Having said that, the water container itself is relevant to your story. Also, you could maybe have panned down a bit to include the whole of that guy's feet! Just my opinion....
