The Botanical Gardens of Bucharest are already famous for their summertime variety of colors and atmosphere. Less explored in winter this park remains equally beautiful. Here a lonely bench sits on the shores of its artificial lake.Summer's wild ducks and koi fish made place to winter's thin sheet of ice.Shot wide open with a D200 and a f/1.8 50 mm fixed lens , the light was terrible and temperatures freezing, had to aim for a very fast exposure because I shot handheld.

Hello Marius,

Welcome on TE, the site where we together something can learn.
A 50 mm lens is normally a good portrait lens, but you use if panorama.
Create depth and perspective about the area.
