Photographer's Note

On the left Gerlachovský Peak (2655 m), is the highest in the High Tatras and in Slovakia, too.
Gerlachovský Peak is because of its height and breathtaking scenery one of the most visited peaks in the High Tatras. It is possible to climb there only under the leadership of a skilled mountain guide.
It is called Gerlachovský, because it is situated on the former land of the village Gerlachov. The ones who reached the top were cartographic officers from Austria in 1868.
The hike up to the Gerlachovský Peak through the sc. Velická and Batizovská Próba was secured by additional tools in 1880.
Access only under the leadership of a skilled mountain guide.

On the right Slavkovský Peak, is the fourth highest mountain peak that can be reached on a marked trail in the High Tatra mountains in Slovakia. Its summit is 2452 metres above sea level. It can be reached by foot on a walking trail in about four and a half hours from Starý Smokovec. The first recorded ascent was by Juraj Buchholtz in 1664.

Hi Piotr,

The presenc eof the persons is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the mountains in the backgoriund. The sunset is giving nice colors to the field. Have a nice day.

Hello Piotr,

The light has been beautifully captured to enhance the f/g and create amazing contrasts of golden sunlight and hazy mists.
The curving path makes an irresistible guide, especially when followed by the strongly placed figures.

Piotr, the pastures in the valley are bathed with a golden light. It is pleasant to stroll at this time of the day. The mountains are already in the darkness. Fine colors, good sharpness, regards.

Very beautiful image with a great contrast, since the last rays of the sun illuminate the meadow with that golden hue, while the line of the mountains, already show their dark profile.

A beautiful landscape with the sidelight creating a special mood. I like the slight haze in front of the silhouette of the mountain. Good inclusion of the two people on the path also.

The curving road adds good linear perspective and the couple add a nice focal point. I like the thin layer of fog. Good sharpness and well managed backlighting. Tfs!
