Photographer's Note

Téryego chalet - a mountain chalet located in the Slovak part of the High Tatras, on the border of the Little Cold Water Valley and the Valley of Five Spiš Ponds. The Mountain shelter is situated at an altitude of 2015 m above sea level. and is the highest mountain chalet in the Tatra Mountains, open all year round.

Hello Janusz,
This chalet must be a nice place to rest your legs and quench your thirst after climbing the mountain. It was October but it looks like summer, and the nearest person looks like dressed for summer. It's a very nice view and the colours are as usual perfect.

Montanhas são sempre atrativas para mim e para fotografar. As melhores vistas e fotos sempre envolvem a presença das montanhas. Bela vista, cores e formações diversas. Belo trabalho !

Hello Janusz,

You have chosen an excellent viewpoint to reveal the extremely rugged, steep terrain, to set the scene for the location of the mountain chalet. The textural details of the mountains are very crisp and the chalet is strongly positioned in your composition.
I see a figure just descending the slope, acting as a good link to those sitting outside the chalet.

It must be a wonderful place to stay and wake early in the morning, I can feel how clear and crisp the air is. Well chosen PoV and good to include the person to give scale to the entire scene

Hello Janusz,

I went to a similar chalet overlooking Sinaia in Romania, which offered a very much needed hot coffee, as my hands were numb with the cold. (Even with gloves). Good sharpness and nice warm cold colour contrasts. Tfs!

You took this picture out of a low position with the a mountain chalet located in the Slovak part of the High Tatras.
We see on this height no green vegetation but also, a few snow.
An excellent panorama view with nice contrast between the rocks and blue sky.
Nice sharp and clear presentation.

Hi Janusz,
A sharp and well exposed photo with nice colours. It shows the chalet in its wild mountain environment. I like the details of the rocks picked out by the sunlight.
