Photographer's Note

The most beautiful town on the Slovenian coast grew with the help of salt. The Piran salt pans, where the world-class fleur de sel (flower of salt) is still produced today using age-old methods, were the reason why the picturesque Mediterranean walled town, with its church with a view .
The old port town with remnants of a medieval wall is protected as a historical monument. Narrow streets with closely constructed houses descending from the hill and its church to the central square on the coast only emphasise its Mediterranean character. This town developed under the influence of Venice, is considered to be one of the most authentic and most photogenic towns on the Adriatic coast.

HI Piotr,the slovenian "Saint-Tropez" in a very nice composition with a watch on the colorful houses close to the port. Funny with the beach chair standing on the street.
The different colours of the facades cheer up the neighbourhood.
I liked Piran very much. Slovenia is a small country but has several regions with a completely different character.

Czesc Piotr,
Tak rozwazalem rowniez udac sie do tego miasta a nawet spedzic czesc wakacji w gorach a czesc tutaj. Z drugiej strony tak blisko jest stamtad to bogatszego chorwackiego wybrzeza ze w koncu zaplanowalem wakacje pomiedzy Slowenia i Chorwacja. Z planow tych nic nie wyszlo ale moze do nich wroce. Tym razem lepiej przygotowany po obejrzeniu Twojego pieknego reportazu z wielu zakatkow Slowenii.

Urocze kolorowe domki a na pierwszym planie pani ktora cieszy sie sloncem lezac na lezaku rozlozonym na ulicy. Pewnie plaza byla zatloczona :)

I like the pastel colours of the three buildings, but most of all I like the view of the lady relaxing in the street with a newspaper. It looks quite funny, so you did well to combine this amusing view with the beauty of the city.

The colourful houses and the relaxed attitude to life certainly creates a very Mediterranean character!
I like how you have been able to include the paper-reading resident so strongly in your f/g.
The details of the colourful parasols and b/g buildings create a fine sense of depth and perspective.

A lovely view of this square, seen in a pleasant sunlight, which works well for the colourful houses at the other end. The composition is well balanced and that person lying and reading the paper in the bottom left hand corner is very well included.

Cześć Piotrze, Zabawna scenka z tą kobietą relaksująca sie na leżaczku. Ładne kolorowe domy, wszystko czyste i zadbane. Mało kto tam jeździ, Nasze zdjęcia na stronie Piranu dzielą tylko trzy zdjęcia raszida i 11 lat. Ciekawa jestem Skofja Loka :).
