Result of the action of the elements of nature over the centuries, the Grotto of Aracena, or, as it is known, La Gruta de las Maravillas, is a breathtaking beauty, with magnificent landscapes groundwater.
Situated in the town of Aracena a city in Spain in Huelva province, autonomous community of Andalusia and is located in the hills of the same name.
It was the first tourist cave in Spain and the first in the world, was discovered in the late nineteenth century and is open to the public since 1914.
The entrance to the cave is made by the Plaza de San Pedro in the center of the town of Aracena and, over 1200m can be visited (although it is known as the cave has at least 2130m long) and that span multiple levels, we found inland lakes and limestone formations as stalactites and stalagmites of great beauty and striking colors wisely and valued by the illumination.
