This shot was taken almost a one year ago during Semana Santa in Spain. I was impressed with this beautiful tradition of celebrating the Holy Week.

I like that you were able to get the Cross in at the bottom, thats a nice addition to the scene.

her facial expression is quite good too, she appears to be in deep thought or reflection.

Hello Gosia,

I was immediately attracted to this shot in the thumbnails.
It is even better full size.
I love the serenity of the lady, beautifully captured with this shallow dof. She has a demure expression, encircled by the attractive black lace, a lovely contrast.

A very good portrait shot. You did a fabulous job here, capturing the lovely flesh tone and pensive expression of your beautiful subject. I like how the blurred background makes her stand out even more wonderfully. The detailing is just superb, both in the lace mantilla and in the skin texture. Very well photographed.

This is a very beautiful portrait of a very beautiful woman, even though she is in mourning black, and she looks quite sad, she has a classical beauty that even a sad expression could not hide. Really excellent framing, I especially like how the crucifix touches the edge of the frame. Your well chosen depth of field adds a lot to the result. Really nicely done.

Hello Gosia

You've managed to get in close without the subject apparently being aware of your presence. A beautiful, perhaps sad moment, very well caught. But I'm slightly surprised by the effect of the lens: the very shallow depth of field is characteristic of long lenses, not wide angle. And I see your exif data is telling us you in fact had a mild tele on instead. Now it begins to make sense! And would explain why she didn't notice you...
