Photographer's Note

This image has been taken in Mijas, a town in the province of Málaga, in Andalusia. It is a typically Andalusian white-washed small city located at a mountain side about 450 m above mean sea level, in the heart of the Costa del Sol region. I was really impressed by the views of so many beautiful pots of flowers on the streets there.

Hello Malgorzata,
I like this point of view looking down this deserted street with its whitewashed houses. The blue sky makes a good contrast with the architecture. Some attractive shadow play.

A very charming small street of the beautiful Andalucia! POV well selectd with the small street which learn the glance in the prospect open. Good managment of light with white color well exposed.

Fajna kompozycja kameralnej uliczki w połowie wertykalna a w połowie diagonalna podkreślająca dynamikę scenerii. Super światło (gra światła i c ieni), bardzo miłe kolory, super jakość detali

it's really curious that there are so many pots with flowers... but this is what adds a special charm to the place, doesn't it? :)
You chose a very good POV to show the narrow street. Very good vertical composition.

Hi Malgorzata,
Mijas is the most toured white village in Andalusia, but represent a good view on how those places built and live. Fine taken shot onto the depth in this alley, I know exactly it's relative location's - though we were there in 6/1998...
You managed a perfect clearity on the flower-pots, nice decor on walls.

Bonjour Malgorzata,

La ville porte bien son surnom. Des pots à fleurs plus nombreux que les portes sur fond de mur blanc, ce qui ajoute de belles touches de couleurs.

Very nice picture southern Spain. Already I think I wrote that Southern Spain is very similar to Greece. Very fun pictures, good insight. The planters, beautifully highlighting the perspective.

Hello Malgorzata,

Very good frame vertical, perfectly reflects the atmosphere in the streets of this wonderful city and most of andalucia, it really is a pleasure to walk these streets that you'll probably find people at the door of the house.

The contrast of blue with the White House is also very well balanced, congratulations and greetings from Barcelona.

Hello Malgorzata,

While going to visit Malaga and these neighbourhoods, these lanes m' really rained. The frontages simple, sober and are always rather well maintained. The white leaves apparaitres the pretty flowers and the sky adds l' effect. L' image is well tallied and the colors are beautiful. A very beautiful gallery, Cheer
