Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer you a view of a unique building of modernist style located in front of the beach of Santa Marina, in Ribadesella, Asturias. I hope you like it, then some letters about the building.

CHALET DE LLANO - RIBADESELLA
Designed by the notable architect D. Miguel García-Lomas Somoano (as the one from La Atalaya and others) is located on the beach promenade. It was built in 1922, its origins were the summer house of Miguel Llano Margolles, a Riosellano emigrant who amassed his fortune in Mexico. His granddaughters decided to get rid of the property after the death of his father, Miguel Angel Llano de la Vega, one of the pioneers of the International Descent of the Sella.
Rehabilitated in the year 2007.

Hola amigo Angel.
Una preciosa casa de las llamadas casas de indianos, muy frecuentes por todo el norte, esta recien restaurada tiene mucho encanto y original construccion, captada en el mejor angulo.
La gestión del color y la luz, son magníficos, resaltando la belleza y la nitidez de la imagen.

Hello Angel,
You found another fantastic building and made a very nice composition. I can't quite define the building's style, but I see a lot of interesting and attractive details. The brown parts are beautiful. I also like how you framed the view with the tree to the left and the hedge on the right side. It was a dull day but there is quite enough substance in the sky, so you did well with the bad light.

Hola Angel,

This is a very individual building!
Its quirky shape, bi-coloured exterior and pillared doorway, certainly set it apart from any buildings that I have seen!
You have captured it from a good viewpoint, using the steps as a guide to include as much detail of the building as possible.
It is sharp with natural colours.

Hola querido amigo Ángel,
estas fotos de Ribadesella me evocan bonitos recuerdos de un viaje que hicimos Pili y yo a través de Cantabria y Asturias.
En Ribadesella nos alojamos en un hotel también en el paseo de la playa, y allí pudimos pasear y admirar la elegancia y la belleza de los chalets y casonas.
En tu foto disfrutamos viendo este magnífico ejemplo, qua has captado desde abajo en un eficaz encuadre que nos permite apreciar sus elegantes formas y volúmenes, así como la belleza de su pintura, sus tejados y la jardinería que lo decora. Todos los elementos se ven claramente gracias a la nitidez de la imagen, que tiene una buena iluminación a pesar del día gris, y unos colores vivos muy agradables.
Bello trabajo, amigo mío.

PD: a ver la que van a liar mañana los radicales culés (afortunadamente no todos los culés somos así) en la final de la Copa. Miedo me da el espectáculo que van a organizar y lo mal que quedaremos todos los catalanes que no pensamos como ellos.

I chose this one in your gallery because its something quite different and unique, never seen a building exactly like this one before. Obviously they've kept up with the renovations considering it was built in 1922, it looks fantastic. too bad we can't see interior photos :)
