Photographer's Note

Two last pictures from Spain for the time being, and once again from La Sagrada Familia.

I wrote a note about how Gaudi came to design and build the Temple alongside my shot 'An Exceptional Temple'. So I won't repeat myself.

From ' - "La Sagrada Familia is a one-of-a-kind temple, for its origins, foundation and purpose. Fruit of the work of genius architect Antoni Gaudi, the project was promoted by the people for the people.
Five generations have now watched the Temple progress in Barcelona.
Today, more than 140 years after the laying of the cornerstone construction continues on the Basilica."

'Stone trees'? As I was looking at this particular shot and the enormous tall columns I was reminded of trees, especially as some of the columns seem to branch out just like a tree.

I hope that one day I will be able to return and enjoy this awesome building.

Thanks for looking.
