La iglesia de la Inmaculada Concepción de Mijas is located at the top of the village. The building was constructed between 1540 and 1565 on the initiative of of Bishop Bernardo Manrique on the ruins of an old mosque and castle.

Hello Malgorzata,
The light was very strong but you handled it very well. Nice contrast between the church with its largely white exterior and the tree and its branches in the shadow.
We also get a nice view of the mountains that surround the village.
The framing with the trunk at the left and the leaves on top is excellent.

Hello Malgorzata,
The whitewashed facade of the church makes an excellent contrast with the darker tones of the adjacent bell tower. You have handled the exposure well and the image is nicely framed by the tree, which offers some interesting shadow play on the right. Good sharpness.

know this church really well have friends that lived in Mijas for a few years. This is a superb shot of it and the heat of the day is palpable in this wonderful composition. Glorious blue sky and wonderfully controlled light and shade. Beautiful!

this antique church has its own special style and you have captured it with great perspective and clarity. The tall tree offers a lovely and elegant natural frame and also some delightful plays of light and shade. I love the vivid natural colours and textures and your brilliant lighting that tamed the very powerful white covering a large part of the frame. c'est un bleu intense pour le ciel, beaucoup aidé par le filtre polarisant qui s'est montré efficace dans le traitement des couleurs, leur vivacité.
Des blancs parfaitement balancés et exposés, cela montre le soin ultime de cette prise de vue. L'endroit a été bien choisi et bien cadré.
