Photographer's Note

On one of my regular walks on Södermalm island recently I saw something unexpected, like a large mural had slipped from the wall and crashed into the street. I had stumbled upon one of the exhibits of the summer art show spread across the city.

I was happy to see, immediately as I entered the street, that the painting was made by the same graffiti artist who decorated my own house a few years ago:

Her name is Amara Muños (born in Stockholm in 1988), calling herself Amara Por Dios, active in Sweden and the UK.

I took a few photos and selected this as the main one. I was grateful to the florist for stepping out of the shop just in time to show me her perfectly matching dress.

The two workshop photos will show you the start and end of this short pedestrian block. Click Map:view to get here.
