Photographer's Note

I went for a walk with a friend this weekend, beautiful weather at first but it quickly turned into a blizzard.

On the way back in the wind I got this image of the abandoned jetties under the bridge.

It turned out to be slightly more experimental than intended due to a large snowflake that hit my lens, the water on the lens was impossible to wash off completely so parts of all images taken after that point became partially blurred and ghosted.

I like how this shot turned out even so, so I thought I'd post it here and see if anyone else agreed with me.

postproduction: Selective sharpening with very large radius to counter some of the water on the lens effect. Desaturation (which did very little since the picture was almost B&W to begin with) resize and normal sharpening (unsharp mask, radius 1, 75%)
