Hi Marlene
What a good idea to use scanned slides of the past to add to the variety in your photos. Fascinating chess pieces! Regards

Hello Marlene!
Amazing and excellent quality for a picture made so many years ago! Lively street shot - it's interesting to see such scenes of that time when I was not yet on this planet :)
Kind regards from Russia, Igor

Hello again, Marlene,
this is what I wanted to comment on, too :)
It is very fammiliar place and a very nice area :) I like walking there... This chess ground still exists in Stockholm, but the chess figures are different now. They are made of plastic and are black and white :) And people still gather to play chess and watch the players :)
Good composition and very nice colours... the frame adds a nostrlgic dreamy look to the photo.
greetings from Moscow,
Elena

Hi Marlene,
I was directed to this photo from fanni´s last upload. I must have missed it earlier. This is indeed a quite funny capture from the seventies with those hairstyles and fashion. Although not visible here, I believe that many of the people around here also wore typical clogs!
Kind regards
Gunnar
