After having climb the Monte San Salvatore from Lugano-Paradiso, we go down in direction of Melide, via the sympathetic and very pleasant villages of Ciona and Carona.
In front of our eyes, Chiesa di Santa Marta, whose current architecture goes back to 1709, is one of the six churches which you will be able to admire if you visit Carona.

Hi Gramma,
The colors of this photo is very natural and crisp. I like the way you composed the whole scene placing the building at the upper left and the land sloping to lower right ... it look very balance. Excellent ... TFS.

Je vois que tu te mets également à poster des photographies d'édifices religieux le dimanche ! C'est une mode sur TE !
Ton église est très belle ! Tu as choisi un point de vue très particulier pour la saisir ! Cela donne une impression d'inaccessibilité ! Les couleurs sont très belle notamment celle du ciel bleu dans les arbres !

The light seems to be shining just on the church; it stands out so well against the vivid blue sky. Very good shot from a low POV
