Photographer's Note
Table Tennis at Parc des Bastions. It is is a lovely tree lined park between Old Town and the University. The park is overlooked by the Promenade de la Treille.
Near the gates at the entrance to Parc des Bastions there are numerous life size chess /checker boards painted on the ground. The table tennis tables shown in this image are off to one side of the chess boards. It was late Saturday afternoon and all of the game facilities were being well used.
ISO3200, noise reduction applied.

Hello Trevor,
Yes, this certainly looks like a very serious game of table tennis, judging by the expressions on these two guys' faces! It's nice to have facilities like this in public parks so that people can do some other things rather than just sitting or walking.
You have captured this moment perfectly and what really impresses me is that there really is no evidence of any noise in this picture whatsoever, even although you say you have used ISO 3200! Did you apply noise reduction to the RAW file or later in the editing process?
A very fine photograph, very well taken in such poor light and with excellent colours, details and sharpness.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.

Hi Trevor,a very original and nice pic mad with this curious and symmetric perspective made by the tennis tables, great choice of a very hight ISO to take the best details in this difficult light and fast mouvements of the players, and excellent too is the noise reduction in PP,i like it! Have a nice Sunday and thanks,Luciano

Hello Trevor,
A fine point of view on these table tennis players with the succeeding tables creating a nice long perspective. The expressions of concentration on the faces of the two players in the foreground are very well captured. The guy on the left reminds me of Greg Wallace! Excellent daily life presentation.

Hej Trevor,
Vänliga hälsningar,
Gert
