Hello Nicolas,
This is a fascinating composition. We see the trees, we see the house and the lawn behind them, but everything looks so strange, due to the slight ripples of the water. Without the title and the note this would have been a mysterious photo. It's a very smart composition and perfectly presented.

This is so like a very modernistic painting!
The tree trunks, seem like grotesque bamboo shoots rising from the grass but the shimmering effect creating a very mysterious b/g.
Very well seen and composed!

Nicolas, very artistic shot. It looks like an impressionist painting. The trunks and the house are reflected in the pond water.

On dirait l'oeuvre d'un peintre. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des reflets. La lumière a un bel effet sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Nicolas, this is so beautiful; a lovely mix of colours.
The tree trunks make a stripy pattern, albeit uneven stripes, across the frame.
Once again your artistic eye has seen the possibility in this reflection.

cette photo est sympathique! on est sûr que ce n'est un reflet qu'après 1/4 de l'image ce qui la rend mystérieuse, voir même magique! est-ce un chalet ou un bateau? c'est comme dans un rêve poétique....

Bonjour Nicolas,

This is a wonderful photograph of the reflection on that lake and such a splendid idea to invert the image so that the trees and the chalet appear the "right way up"! There was a trend in the past for people to present such photographs on TE but I haven't seen one for quite a while.

The effect is very effective, almost like a watercolour paining, and very beautiful.
