Photographer's Note
These fellows were playing chess happily in a Geneve public park unknowing that a SuissId was taking place nearby…
Ok see the guy kneeling down with a backpack on the right of the player on white? That is fellow trekearther Quentin (Aka SwissId) in the process of taking a photo.
Taking some of your suggestions regarding my last black and white, I have included some noise and graininess on this one.

Hi Daniel,
What a wonderful B&W photo! I can't think about something that could feet more to be in B&W than a chessboard, and you made some excellent work. I especially like the grain you added to the photo.
Cheers,
Alon

The thing I like about your choice of BW version of this photo is the fact that chess is played between the b/w too ... so it is a good rendition ... secondly I think it was good to induce the tilt in this photo as it creates good tension ....
overall a very well taken photo mate ... cheers ... sarju

Hej Daniel,
The B&W suits of course very well to the chess bricks. I like all the people in the background of the picture. Well taken.

Hello Daniel,
the checkerboard design..you know I like it:) I like the three different chess boards and the chess pieces here. In black and white and with noise. Thats what I love even more.

Hi Daniel I like this photo very much. nice framing and POV. Maybe the white is just a bit overexposed... Bala

Bonjour Daniel,
Bel instantané en noir et blanc comme les pieces des echecs.
Bien vu. C'est assez surréaliste!

The contrast of this photo between black and white works very well. I wonder if they both chose which pieces to be. It's very rare to find a giant chess game! Great shot. The grain looks very natural.
