Photographer's Note

Revisited Charlestown, near St. Austell in Cornwall.
The last time we were there it was a very grey day! This time it was glorious!

Charlestown is a little village with plenty to see.It does not feel like a typical Cornish village, as the harbour is quite different to other Cornish harbours.

These cottages overlook the harbour.I am not sure whether they are holiday cottages or the people live there permanently. In villages such as this, many properties have been bought by richer people who only come for weekends and the occasional holiday, which gives the place a ghost like feel in the winter time.

There were some beautiful cottages in the village but I did not photograph them because many had No Parking signs outside which rather spoiled the view.

Thanks for looking.
