Photographer's Note
Inspired by Torben's recent postings, here's another picture of a 19th Century glasshouse. This recently restored structure is typical of the cast-iron engineering of the time and used to house a collection of exotic plants from around the British Empire, including a full-sized banana tree. Nowadays it's mostly used for functions. There's another photo here, and the Palm House website is here.

Oh this one great - two palmhouses in one day ;-) I like the backlight in you shot and the special light inside the greenhouse - Very nice capture Andy.

As usual, another stunner Andy! I love the luminosity you have captured in the glass, off set nicely by the colour in the sky. I would perhaps rotate a little CW, and crop some of the bottom, but that is just me. I like this theme. Well done!

Excellent composition Andy. The backlight had really highlighted the window frosting, and the silhoetted plants within. Very well captured.

This is a very fine capture Andy. The way the sun glows in the glasspanes is almost magical. Combined with the point of view it also helps to the understanding of the buildings size and structure.
The photo could probably benefit from a little rotation and a smidgen of perspective correction in Photoshop.
BTW: is glasshouse a more correct word than greenhouse?
