Photographer's Note

This peculiar shaped hill is known as Roseberry Topping and lies in the North York Moors by the village of Newton under Roseberry. Its 320m summit offers a 360 degree viewpoint, with views as far as Teeside and the Yorkshire Dales.

This picture was taken just before sunset, on a cold but bright day. The area was completely covered in snow only a few days previously.
