Photographer's Note

I live in a small village close to the North York moors ,every year just before the heather gets its purple heads ,the cotton has pride of place on the moors .It thrives only in wet boggy land and loves the peat ,most locals call it bog cotton or moor cotton and its an impressive sight blowing in the breeze,it is also a haven for ducks etc ,in fact i spooked two duck whilst taking this shot, hope you like it
