You chose an excellent place to capture the storms of the last couple of days. You have captured the turbulence very well and clicked at just the right time. The sun out at the time belies just how bad the recent weather has been.

Hi Adrian,
Nice shot, you have managed to capture the energy of the sea as it hits the sea wall. I couldn't get to the coast when the waves hammering the shore so thank you for capturing it so I can see it here.
Best regards,
Paul.

Hi Adrian, I have just seen (Renerob)Irene's photo of a wave in Redcar & this one looks just as powerful, also the sky looks bright but on your side of the country the waves come big, great timing & superb POV, the focus is very good just look at that foam & spray, excellent photo, kind regards Wilson.

Hi Adrian,
Wonderful view of nature's fury as she pounds these colorful harborside buildings. Great detail to the foamy surf and fine sharp colors to the poor buildings. Warm blue sky seems a bit out of place in the midst of such force.

Awesome Nels, another great shot of the sea's power and something to scale it against. What sort of maintenance does it take on the buildings after a soaking like this?

Verry attractive catch, Adrian!
The action and subject are here, just in
front of you (not a mile away) like in
some of your previous posts - you see,
immediately there's more response, more
visits and everyone's aplauding you on an
excellent image!
But I'm glad you didn't go even closer, as
these waves are powerful - have just witnessed
them in Scarborough!
Congratulations,
Robi

Hi Adrian,
you've been active lately and I really like this shot. Very dynamic with the wave crashing onto the shore. Great play between light and shadow. Wonderful colours and excellent sharpness. I wouldn't like to live so close myself! A superb capture mate, well done.

Hey Adrian,
Great shot! I don't fancy walking across the road there as that wave hits, it'll be like when you're standing on the side of the road and a truck drives through a puddle! You're lucky you didn't go round there to try and get a view from the middle of the action! nice one, Luke

....and some people wonder why it's difficult / impossible to get insurance cover in situations like these!! Surely the government needs to step in and improve sea defences. It looks like this is a lost cause though. Great shot. Excellent technically. Probably got a commercial value for the right company / magazine. Great shot. Paul.

Hi Adrian,
wow ... what a wave! Looks fascinating, even more with the blue sky and the red building ... those who have to life in this house probably can´t enjoy such a scenery. I´m not quite sure about the cropped roof and gable ... but all in all, well done.

Hello Adrian,
Wow! I love this one - it really shows the sheer power of the waves battering against the seafront and threatening this building.
The lighting is superb, the boiling foam and the crest of that huge wave perfectly lit in bright sunshine while the poor building is in quite dark shade. Good composition, lovely colours, perfect exposure and stunning sharpness.
Excellent!
Kind Regards,
John.
