Taken frm one of the small jetty's inside Whitby harbour, looking up, over the rooftops, towards the Norman tower of St Mary's church. To get up there, you have to climb 199 steps!
The old fishing ports of Whitby is still one of my favourite places.

nice view David ,its a great place, i was born in whitby and i never get tried of the place .I really love it in winter when its back to its quiet normal self ,and you hear the gulls cry at first light
