In the last 20 years or so I have relatively often moved between various towns or countries. Living in the North East England for almost 7 years now is my personal record. If someone lives in one place for 2-3 years, one can rarely manage to see all the local attractions. I approach now this moment for the first time in my adult life when I have seen most of the places in 2 hours driving radius which I would like to see. I had always a list of local places to visit. Now it is empty. I suppose I will start re-visiting my most favourite places around.
Not only I have showed you already few photos from Tynemouth Priory HERE but I have even showed you a photo from the identical point of view HERE. The new upload is however so very much different from the first one and I really like both of them for different reasons, so I decided to share them both with you.

Hello Mariusz,
I think I saw this priory from a distance when I arrived in Newcastle by ferry from The Netherlands many years ago, but I haven't got any photos. This is a fantastic capture of the old architecture, which is surrounded so beautifully by all the gravestones. The photo is very sharp and the clarity was great, excellent work!

Hello Mariusz,
I just looked at your picture from 2014 and there's a quite big difference with this one. Here the sight has a much more dramatic look.
I don't know why ... The light was more beautiful on your previous photo and it created pretty warm tones then. Yet I have a preference for this one here.
I think the horizontal format gives the priory and the cemetery a wider view.
Wonderful country with that many spectacular ruins.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Mariusz,
I hope that because you have seen the most important sights in your locality, you don't decide to move elsewhere! As can be seen here, different times of day and year can give totally different atmospheres to scenes taken from the same place!
I'm quite sure you hadn't perused the previous photograph before you set off but an instinct for a strong composition has driven you to select this place again!
You have a strong f/g triangle from the tall grass, a path giving a separation line , a ruin which is tall and imposing, strongly positioned in the frame and a wealth of individual features to add interest and a sense of place.
Though the light is quite different, it doesn't mean it is worse, it is lighter and brighter.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Mariusz
You've posted pictures from this location before, but this is my favourite! Crystal clear, very sharp, it's tempting to try to count the tombtstones. Superb!

Hello Mariusz, it just goes to show what a difference the light makes.
This day the grave stones and the ruins are in very sharp focus.
Great viewpoint.
And of course the blue sky makes a perfect background.
Regards Jean.

Hello My Friend
I love this image from long ago. There is still character and life in the capture. All are waiting in the cemetery to find out their fate. What a great perspective. Keep them coming

Ciao Mariusz
questo luogo potrebbe sembrare sinistro con un cielo grigio, ma questa luce cambia completamente il modo di vedere.
Bella foto, interessante luogo.

Hi Mariusz
I guess now you'll have to revisit all these same place but at blue hour, given how much you enjoy that type of photography, that's your new goal :) This time we see it from a bit further back, more so see this time. Imagine flying my drone here, that would be fantastic. love this subject, so photogenic and the atmosphere is quite haunting even during the daytime light. nice one. cheers

Hi M,
This is so, so interesting how if we follow the picture back in time and see how you have captured it differently in other situations. I think we all have a picture that we recapture time and again. Thanks for sharing.

Bonjour, cher Mariusz,
Excellente prise de vue valorisant un patrimoine religieux en ruine. Ce qui est étonnant, ce sont ces stèles qui semblent regarder vers l'édifice et prier !
Belle note également.
Amitiés.

cześc Mariusz, To juz siedem lat? Popatrz, jak ten czas leci... Ja mieszkam w Warszawie juz ponad 70 lat, ale czy wszystko widziałam w w promieniu dwu godzin jazdy? Fantastyczne miejsce z tymi ruinami i starym cmentarzem. Jak zawsze, fantastyczna ostrośc.
Jeszcze dziś bardzo pracowity dzień, a jutro ....
Pozdrawiam

Hi Mariusz
Fantactique endroit, tant pour les ruines ,les pierres tombales disperser, il y a une bonne profondeur, les personnes au loin donne l'échelle, la lumière rend bien les moindres détails, bonne idée de représenter a une heure différente..

Hello Mariusz,
These ruins and gravestones almost look like they were built for a movie set. It may be the amazing light and the very good sharpness that in a funny way makes everything look so fresh and new (but carefully prepared to look old). In any case it's a spectacular photo.

Gert

Hello Mariusz,
Every photograph taken varies according to the prevailing light as you show clearly in your two presentations of the abbey. This latest image is well framed and benefits from a pleasant soft light and agreeable natural tones. I like how the abbey is shown set in context sat amidst the surrounding gravestones. Excellent sharpness.

Hi Mariusz,in effect the POV is very different comparing your links in the note,so...an excellent new post from there, large view with a great watch on the ruins and on the tombs too. The WS is terrific,a very hard work in PP to create this "day after" effect...in the night lights..ehehe...well done! Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz.
Indeed the same POV that in your previous visit to this place, only that in this day there is a full light although the other one also I like with that evening light.
Against more ruins I see of old cathedrals and monasteries but it gives me pain, that was destroyed so much in the XVI century, to judge by the ruins this would be a great work.
A beautiful color, which enhances the image.
Magnificent management of brightness and sharpness, to enjoy with the details.
Well seen and done. I like it.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.

Hello Mariusz,
Reviewed the link to the preceding photos from this priority, they were taken under a different light conditions and yet - each shows the magnificence of the ruins in a prominent focal point.
A fair distant point, included much of the cemetery stones in the FG, gave extra depth.
Good afternoon and a nice weekend,
Ike

Hello Mariusz,
Looks like it was quite a sizeable community back in its heyday. Good sharpness and repetition of the tombstones. The clear blue sky and bright light help to dispel the melancholic mood of a cloudy day. Tfs!
