I was walking the dog and taking a few shots when I got the chance.I spotted this part of the river where it ran slowly and everything around it was so green,calm and peaceful.
This is the River Holme which flows through the small West Yorkshire town of Holmfirth and eventually joins the River Colne in Huddersfield.It was once the main power source for many woollen mills in the valley.

Good shot Andy, You have captured the feel of the River Holme, especially the green foliage which surrounds the river all the way down the Holme Valley. Good use of trees in this shot to add points of interest and for their reflections in the water.
