Picture shows an interior architecture view from Edinburgh University. The library is located in the Old College of the University and I couldn’t resist to shot this picture of the amazing ceiling.

Hello Jean Claude,

It is amazing to think that I live only about 40 miles from Edinburgh and yet have never been in this place! Is this library open to the public or is it only for members of the university?

A brilliant photograph with very strong perspective which shows that remarkable ceiling to wonderful effect, flanked below by the regular square columns.

A perfect capture with glorious light and colours, perfect exposure and exquisite details and sharpness.

This photo has a superb symmetry, which along with the well handled light accentuates the beauty pf the ceiling and pillars. There are many fine details and the balance of colours is very harmonious and appealing.

Hello JC,

You have obviously studied the building carefully, noticing the geometric patterns that are part of its design. By cropping them, in this way, you have revealed them for us to share. I just love the lines and patterns of the arched ceiling, giving a fine sense of depth and perspective.
