Photographer's Note
hello...Glasgow grew from a small rural settlement on the River Clyde to become the largest seaport in Scotland, and tenth largest by tonnage in Britain. Expanding from the medieval bishopric and royal burgh, and the later establishment of the University of Glasgow in the 15th century, it became a major centre of the Scottish Enlightenment in the 18th century. From the 18th century onwards, the city also grew as one of Great Britain's main hubs of transatlantic trade with North America and the West Indies. wiki source

Hello Dale,
It's an original and amusing monument and the people and pigeons help to create a lively image. But I think the notes should be more specific, describing the photo instead of presenting the history of the city. Who made this and where is it placed? ;-)
Regards,
Gert

Hello Dale,
Nice title matching the sight of the closck.
Rather difficult to balance contrast against the gray facade, but fairly well outcame.
Good afternoon,

Hi Dale
Fascinating artwork and you captured it so well with people walking past - they not only provide a sense of scale but also seem to be walking together with the clock sculpture!
Best wishes
Kasia

Hello Dale,
I have visited Glasgow twice but never seen this fun timepiece! It seems to epitomise the Glaswegian sense of humour - time running out!
The photograph is very engaging, lots of information, good lighting contrasts and fun sense of scale!
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Dale,
Excellent composition and good capture with the lights. Everything is well-placed even the pigeons. On the other hand I would have tried the BW conversion.
I think it would enhance the compostion.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hello Dale, the clock on legs is a witty piece, but I would like to know more about it please.
An ideal place for pigeons to sit and rest!
Taken in a good light and with very good sharpness.
The composition works really well, as if the clock is on its way out of the shot.
Kind regards, Jean.
