Photographer's Note
I took this shot on a rapidly fading light and incoming tide. Initially it was a much wider image, taken portrait and showing the horizon and somewhat lack lustre late evening sky. Once converted from RAW the closer crop of the rocks themselves made for a much more interesting composition. The two rocks at the top of the image reminded me of a crocodile's eyes just showing above the water, hence the title.

Hello Gerwyn
Now this is a photo that you should be proud of, it looks simply amazing.
What strikes me the most here is the incredible clearity.
The details are almost overwhelming and combined with the utter lack of detail in the water it makes for a very interesting view.
Excellent work.

Gerwyn-
Great use of time exposure.
I've seen many shots like this with the misty water among a rocky shoreline. Your's ranks among the better. I also like the way the strata of white rock winds in and out of the outcropping. It adds to the shot.
I might have cropped a little more at top to remove some of the sea in the background, buts that just personal opinion.
Overall, a very nice exposure and composition.
Could you upload the original as a WS, so we can see the extent of your cropping.
Thanks!

magnificent photo and an apt title, the photo does create a feeling that dragons are not too far away :) I agree, the contrast between the the foggy water with the ruggedness of the stones is fantastic, one emphasises the other. I also like the point of view and the final composition you have chosen, the triangle of the rocks in the foreground lead they eye into the photo so the viewer can loose him/herself in the misty distance. great shot.
best,
Kristine

Gerwyn
For years I've been hearing stories about Swansea's coast, but actually never went down there. Aparently this photo shows one of the things I've missed...
I must congratulate you excellent sharpness and technique (which probably should include the timing as well).
It often happens that people trying to take a photo with mist-like effect get an un-natural color cast on it.
You've captured an excellent moment keeping it natural. Thanks for sharing.

Greetings!
This is a beautiful shot. The long exposure was obviously a great choice. I enjoy the colors very much- the muted tones at a lot to the atmosphere.
You are correct about the two rocks at the top- they do look like crocodile eyes! Well titled.
Thanks for sharing.
