Photographer's Note
The fast moving clouds made for different light patterns along the beach. I set up the camera on a tripod and waited until the sun hit the cliffs bringing out the beautiful colours of the sedimentary rocks.

Gerwyn,
This is an excellent shot with great DOF and sharpness. You POV is very nice showing the sand and rocks in the FG and the cliffs in the BG. The color and lighting are great as well.

Hi Gerwyn,
Your lower POV adds excellent view of this spectacular landscape. I like great contrast between parts and of course cloudy sky. You got a brilliant result after your patience. Congratulations.

Gerwyn, the textures here are incredable! You made a nice work using the ND filter. I had one ND filter but I still without good resoults with it.
The colors ar suberb as well as the sharp on the rock and the DOF, a very clear and pretty image.

Excellent photo Gerwyn,
Your detail is nice and sharp throughout the image and the composition is spot on with the rocks in the foreground and the stunning background, combine that with your patience in waiting for the right light and you have a first class image.
Best regards,
Paul.

The light in particular on this is excellent, I really like how it reflects on the sand and cliff face. There seem to be so many great shots like this of that South Wales coast on TE, I really must make a trip I think.

Excellent use of light and you chose a nice downward angle on the lens to give superb F/G interest.

Hi Gerwyn!
Excellent photo!
I am still impressed with your results in your whole gallery, but especially with the photos taken at the Heritage Coast, as it's not easy to be patient down there and wait for excellent compo.
As for this photo I like the most the sense of scale created by the beach and sunlit cliffs.
Also I enjoy the water stream, just behind sharp foreground, trying to "return" to the sea, as usual during low tide.
I like the color composition too: the contrast between blues (the sky+the water) and yellows (the cliff+wet sand).

Your patience has been rewarded Gerwyn. Good capture.Grad filter helped to hold back the sky, but I wonder if you could get more details out of the shadows.

Hi Gerwyn, i realy like the way you compose this image. At every layer there are interesting details to look at. Diffrent textures, shapes and colours to discover. Great job.
